Hmm...

I gather there's an instrumental version, I think that might work for me a little better than the toe curling vocals...

I would guess Love Will Tear Us Apart would suit the form quite nicely, but it ain't punk.

Indeed there is mate - the 'Deluxe' version of the album wot I bought has an extra CD wiv all the instrumental versions of the songs. Needless to say, I think this non-vocals CD will get more of an airing

As a side note, I heard an interview with Jah Wobble a couple of weeks ago. He mentioned that when he met the Pistols he was most impressed by Glen Matlock, really rates him as a bass player.
