Hey All 
Right now I have kind of older system still 32 bit a Dell precision t3400 running sonar 8.5 producer I love Sonar.
My main mixer is a roland vm 3100 non pro 
I also just got a roland U-8 controller to use. I'm also a maudio fan just bought a delta 1010 rack to use, anyway I don't have the card installed yet I just put the power supply in and plug I didn't get a power light 
For those who do have this one does the card have to be in the computer and everything connected before the light comes on ?

Yes, it stays off until the host is detected.
Great classic card BTW, been running mine for over 10 years.

Ok Thanks I plan on putting the card in on monday I was hoping that what is was did want to have a dead unit ?

Been running mine about 10 years, also. Always been rock solid.

I've run 2 units a lot. Very stable interfaces. Just make sure you don't power up your computer with the units attached but unplugged. I've blown a couple of BOBs that way.
