It's been a long time since I've been seen in these parts   I've been exploring some intervallic ideas along the lines of Bernard Herrmann.  Any feedback on how to make this better is certainly welcome.

Jonas,

This is a very intricate, detailed piece. I think you did a superb job putting all of it together. About the only thing that could possibly improve it would be some better samples where the instruments sound a little thin and unreal. That's about it.

Do you intend to develop it further, I quite enjoyed what I heard and could have taken some more.
Thanks for sharing.

Jonas,

I thought Rod Serling was going to start speaking during this piece:)   You definitely nailed Bernard Herrmann's style in the track.   Well done.

Felt like a scene from an Alfred Hitchcock movie... with closed eyes

Short, but oh so sweet.   There's a lot going on but it works really well.   As mentioned above it's got a very "mystery movie" thing happening - perfect for that.   Oh, and I really liked the orchestration.

This could be used in one of those old Twilight Zone episodes at the climax of the BIG TWIST at the end.

I agree on the samples, they are not up to the music. The strings the downfall, they simply need to be better sounding for this to fully work.

Also I'd consider layering the timpani with a soft bass drum hit to give it a bit of mass.

Other than those, this was a fun listen. :)
