My wife asked me before we got married if I was looking forward to marrying her. I answered yes, of course, and asked her the same back... She Replied; "Yes, `cause then I can divorce you and take everything".

For some reason the sidechain compression wouldn`t work when I wanted to export this... I would have sidechained the vocals to the acoustic guitar and the Kickdrum to the bass...

I'm not trained in psychology, so i wont try to tell you what your wife's questions truly meant. If you're still married then you're good to go.   Regardless, your music is wonderful.

Lol.... cool catchy tune.....Im on that train too by the way ......standin' at the station to jump them traxx again soon.....thx for sharing.   Man....i gotta step up my vocal mix....lol....ya'll got so much more goin on ....very cool stuff.

Exceptionally cool tune, Øyvind.  Very inventive writing, really nice groove, and super sweet harmonies.  Loved it.  You have a great singing voice.  I'm jealous.

bgv = background vocals. I asked the same question myself once.
 
Divorce, sadness, pain? Whatever. You can flat out sing with style, so shine on.
 
This is a great song, clever lyrics, well presented, well recorded, well mixed. Awesome job.
 
My only crit might be a look at the acoustic guitar, it sounds a bit DI'ed, did you put a mic on it or run it into the board with a DI somehow? It could have a more "live" feel in the mix, that would match the rest of the elements a bit better imho.
