None that I know of.

ASIO4 is to make non ASIO devices look like ASIO to programs.   It is a hit or miss.  Works for some, does not work for others.

Ok. But i have a Motu Ultralite MK3 Duo, and an Native Instruments Rig Kontrol 3 i want to use at the same time using ASIO. WDM is treally unstable for the Rig Kontrol card. I want to record through the Rig Control and playback to the Ultralite card. I get sound out but Asio4all shows the Rig Kontrol as not connected. It is also really slow in updating settings. Seems this combo doesn't work right. The onboard card and HDMI sound is disabled.

Steinberg does have a "generic ASIO driver" that is like ASIO4ALL. Not sure how well it works, or if you can get it without getting Steinberg software.

Ok. Thanks.
But shouldn't it be a solution in sonar for this? I mean. Some workaround to make it work with more cards in ASIO.

Do you have the two audio interfaces clock-sync'd?
If not, tracks recorded on each will eventually drift apart.
FWIW, Using ASIO4ALL or the Steinberg generic ASIO driver really isn't an ideal solution.

ASIO is designed such that it doesn't do multi-card. It is part of the API design.

So then you have to go for mac to do more than one card? Why?

No you can do multi-card with WDM/WASAPI. The native OS API is designed for multi-card. ASIO is just a single card setup. I don't know why Steinberg chose to do that. Clock sync would be my guess, multiple cards will drift out of sync with each other unless you slave them all to a wordclock.

There are programs to re-wrap the ASIO drivers like this one. Not probably the best idea but they exist.

At any rate it is a limitation of ASIO. If you are set on a multi-card setup then want to use the WDM/WASAPI APIs on Windows or CoreAudio on Mac.
