Apologies Dan... Late to the party as usual.

I thoroughly enjoyed listening to that. What a build-up and crescendo at the end there. Top work...

cheers

Thanks Andy!

Really like it especially as other instruments enter the dance.

sorry it's taken me so long to have a listen Dan - Football (soccer) season is in full effect.
I love it - keeps you interested throughout and very well executed.

Thanks Daryl! And congrats again on your recent achievement!

wonderful stuff Dan, and thanks again for the great feedback you gave me.  the only thing that seems to get me on this is mixing wise there seems to be more reverb than I think I would like.  I love the beautiful song a lot.

Dan, sorry it's taken so long to comment. What a beautiful piece of music!

I loved this. Your orchestration is top notch. Incidently, did you do the artwork on this track?

Just curious - have you thought of adding a nylon string guitar to play the melody at some stage? Just a thought but overall a killer piece of music.

Cheers

Peter.

Hey Dan, this is really great!  love it when everything really explodes then drops back and adds an ethereal choir...nice touch.

the only crit I have is that the melody (ex: the one that comes in at 0:08 with the violin) is very similar to an Alan Parsons song (The Gold Bug - the whistle at the beginning and then later with horns)

of course I know it's hard not to sound like something else all the time and the melody isn't 100% exactly the same, just very similar.  it's just an observation.

Thanks for listening! Reverb can be a very subjective thing, though I'll admit I like it more than others. I just consifer it another color in the box of crayons.

Thanks for listening and your kind words Peter! No, I find a suitable piece on the 'net and modify it to work as song art. I do it mostly for myself. The artwork is a piece by Denise Worisch on DeviantArt.

And, no, I'd not thought of nylon guitar. With all the harps, I think it might be too much...

Dan
