When I bought ARC 2 I was finished with recording a project and so I spent the next several weeks mixing and mastering that. I took a couple of months and I'm ready to start another. I've been playing a lot, and tone tweaking a lot trying to get Amplitube to sound better with high gain stuff. My favorite by far with Amplitube is the Fender Super-Sonic, but there is this thing that bothers me about it that I can't quite dial out. So I break out my old Park 75 patch with the HD500, tweak a little and there it is! It dawns on me that I haven't used it since I bought ARC 2...the thing sounds much better than I remembered. It sounds great! Turn off ARC 2 and it's as crappy as before, just as I remember. This little experience confirms again the importance of ARC 2 for my situation and makes me wonder what the Kemper and Axe FX must sound like. Any way here's the patch if anyone has a strat with a humbucker and a HD500.

I had a similar experience, without ARC, I was constantly fighting with my amp sims and impulses trying to dial in a the tone that would translate well through any system. After installing ARC, it was a breeze.
