The vox seems buried to me and when I can hear them they're pumping a bit to much for my taste.

Thanks my friend,
new mix up now reduced compression on lead vox and raised their level.

Sorry pup. Still sounds pretty much the same to me.

I like it Beags - good mix generally but the main vox seem a bit dry/over compressed? I can't make it out but the vox sound sorta hurts to listen to

I like the song and the message.  My only nit is the lead voc is too dry.  I'd add just a tad of reverb.

I usually don't listen to this style but I liked what I heard. Great job!

Ok, I think I've got it now!   after listening to your comments and trying to figure out the problem, I finally determined that the preamp was in saturation during the recording of those last vocals, so they were distorted going into sonar.

new mix up now!

thanks That or Ed!

Daryl - thanks mate!  I think I've got the verb adjusted for the current vocal track.  let me know what you think.  and the harshness was due to the preamp being in saturation - distortion was added to the vox when I laid down that track.  I think this track is better now.

John B. - thanks!  I believe I've fixed the vocal track now, let me know what you think of the new mix!

Antti - thanks!  I appreciate it very much!

Vox sounds harsh to me ...

Otherwise sounds like a great mix to me.

Way better than the first mix.

Now you may need some tweaking of the vox. Maybe low cut @ 100-200HZ. And maybe just a splash of reverb?
