Thanks Phil, I really appreciate it. And I've been ask a lot who the piano player is.
The piano was done with Toontraks EZ Keys; it's one of the best programs I have in my limited arsenal. It's a songwriters dream, you can construct a song on a timeline by dragging and dropping any of a bunch of midi parts which are played in a variety of genres and styles. There are basic rhythmic parts and solo style parts and parts in between those. Not only that, you can go just about as deep as you want into editing the parts eg. inversion, type of chord, length of part, etc. And really not all that expensive, unless you want to add the different piano models they have. I've found all I need is the basic piano that comes with the program, it's what you hear in the song.
And no, I don't work for Toontrak, it's just an amazing program.

Oh, buddy, you got me!!!  This is wild, wonderful and blues!!  I can't say anything because my vocabulary isn't good enough to tell you how excellent I think this is.  Who is playing on it?  Is there somewhere I can download this?  It will make a great addition to my workout collection.  I hope it comes on when I am ready to quit.  It would get me another few minutes of work!   Love this one!  Oh, yes, I am in Denver and I am wondering "how did I get here"?

Oh yeah, that's some good stuff - it's got everything a good blues shuffle needs.    If you programmed those piano parts you did a really good job.  And of course the guitar is nice and tasty.   But so are the vocals and lyrics - spot on IMO.    It all makes for a greasy good bar song.

I like this very much. It had me dancing in the studio. You are a very good player.  There is a funky volume drop around 1:12 and 2:54. 
 
Personally, I think the organ should be mixed a bit louder.  I would also pull back on the piano a bit, and maybe pan everything a little more to the center.  But this is some great playing.  I remember listening to some of your stuff a long while back.  It was good then, I think people were comparing you to Steely Dan, I don't know, maybe my memory is off.  Anyway, thanks for the entertainment.

Thanks Jesse! Yeah, the organ part is a bit of a dilemma, I wanted to mix it a bit louder but the tone I use on it (heavy drive a la Steve Winwood on "Gimme Some Loving") made that hard to do, and I didn't want to change the tone.
Comparing me to Steely Dan?! Wow, what a compliment! One of my all time favorites. I hope Donald Fagen never hears that! LOL
