I guess this goes in Software ... anyway I ran across an interesting series of YT vids where seasoned pro Mike Major goes deep into a heavy rock mix. It's a work in progress -- he's not even done with the drums yet, but already he has 30 short videos that go much further than most others I've seen into details of phase relationships, gating, reverb, and other topics. Well worth checking out, even though not very many folks have done so (yet).

(Sigh).  Another free video series that'll make me a better producer/engineer.  Who's got the time?  I'm just going to have to live an extra ten years longer.
