Good one, John.  Nice build up.  Did you shoot that seagull at the end?

Thank you John, yet another instance of Arturia's Moog Modular, yes I think your right but then it is synthesis.

Thank you Phil, I have considered it but they tell me they taste of fish, rotten fish at that.

Thank you Ed.

. . . and I crack open a beer, and then my wife starts complaining that she's getting cold, and I have to go get her a sweater, which is up like a million steps back to the room, which of course I have forgotten my key so I have to go to the front desk, and I get back 20 minutes later, and the seagull has knocked over my beer.

Just some ideas for part two!  :)

As for your song, it's really nice. It has cool build-ups, and the synths you have bouncing around are recorded or rendered with amazing clarity. I liked the seagulls, too.

green flash, anyone?

Very nice Wookster. Atmospheric. Great choice of synth sounds - just the right blend.

Tom just makes me laugh...very enjoyable fellow.

Back to the program: I like what you did with this. Themes are nice and coherent throughout the piece. Not a fan of the gulls, but \_(00)_/

Very nice overall!

Thank you Tom, as for the rendering up-sampling is the name of the game.  Perhaps I could suggest driftwood for the next time on the beach and I am sorry about the beer.

Thank you as well Daryl, I do try with the synths a tweak here a tweak there, some selective EQ.

Dan not a fan of gulls myself and as for these gulls it is synthesis after all, I could have used a sample but I prefer to see what I can build from the synths I have.  Thanks for taking the time to listen and comment.

As soon as I listened to this....I said "man, this guy really knows his Moog!" Nice textures John!

You know what would be super cool? Just as an idea....start something out like this, and make it start with old, primitive synths. Almost like old video games. Then morph the sounds to a little more modern and continue to morph until you have a realistic orchestra with a rock guitar blasting....like Trans Siberian Orchestra or something. I'd LOVE to hear you do something like that. I know you have it in your fur to do it!

My Chewy says hello and he loved the song. (honest that's his name lol)

Thank you Danny you are most kind and I feel humbled by your words.  One never knows what is going to fall out of the ends of the furry paws when I sit at the keyboard.  Perhaps with the help of some of the amazing guitarists we have here in this forum something will happen one day.

Cute hound and I can see the family resemblance, give Chewy a scratch behind the ears and a belly rub from me and say thank you.

I like Danny's idea there, that would be cool. I'd be up for a colab on that. :)

Cool tune btw Wook :) you really do know how to write them :)
