OK, so I am guilty of judging by the name of the band.  I expected something different and really like what I hear!  Nice mix and good performances.  Nice song, a bit Dire Straits sounding.  That's alwyas good!  Tight!

Just for the record, we do have some songs that might sound like you were expecting. But most of those were from our beginning days back in the late 70s and early 80s. Actually most of our stuff probably doesn't sound like the name would suggest but we've had that name for a long long time and we're still all the original members.

Very nice! I hear a little too much sizzle on the cymbalos in a few spots, but otherwise, this mix is quite good. Love the song!

Well, Gabo, you hit it on the head.  FYI, I wouldn't change the name for anything.  It is a good name.  I mean what do you think of when you see "The Pugtones"?  LOL!  Yeah, same singer?  Talk about growing.  This is so much a different sound so you have all grown....from a pretty good band to begin with.  I am listening again to The Price and it is better than yesterday.  Really nice stuff.

I heard the Knopfler influence straightaway, but nothing wrong with that and it's a great melodic song. Perhaps a little less reverb on the lead guitar would bring it forward in the mix a bit. I could listen to this sort of music all day, great stuff.

The Dire Straits/Knopfler is come across here too, nice tune well mixed in the main the lead guitar could be a little more forward and perhaps the vocals as well.  Thanks for sharing.

Sounds great!   No need to repeat the Dire Straits reference (which is strong with this one, 'specially the vocals) so I'll just say it's a catchy song, solidly performed and well mixed.
