just one verse, one bridge, one chorus...
that's all i got.
ideas?
i can go either way with this one.
i can keep it acoustic, and give it a more pop treatment (i'm really intrigued by this proposition)
or
i can rock it up and make it a batsbrew tune.

the one cool thing about this one is,
i used my brand new RME Babyface interface to do this whole thing....
at 96k, my first foray into higher sample rates.
this is a lightly mastered file. dithered to 16bit/44.1khz

I like the acoustic sound of this bats, but I definitely think it would be better with a rhythm section. Kind of like a Days Of The New thing, but better. Nice idea though. Sounds good.

To quote the grand bapu *I was waiting for the hook but it never came* :D  Why is everyone so afraid of big cats these days?  Andrew Lloyd Weber and C.S. Lewis love cats.

Acoustic.  All the way.  Sounds nice and stripped down which creates a great break for your other tunes in a "album" context.  Love that acoustic solo work in there; has that old school feel, sitting around in the studio burning a fattie with the band after a long night.

Just my two cents...and I did hear the hook on this one.

Love the acoustic work.  Work in progress (?) and I like the way it's going.

you know, i did something REAALLLLLY WEIRD with this tune...
i recorded the two main acoustic rhythm guitars, and the solo guitars, with my ksm44 pointed backwards in cardoid pattern, towards the room, and jacked up my input gain, and basically recorded the sound of the room, instead of the guitars!!
LOL

just experimenting......

i hear you, days of the new, i can hear that.

the hook is yet to be determined,
and i imagine, whichever section i decide to make 'the chorus' will be repeated ad naseum until it becomes the hook.
LOL

big cats, i'm talking about all this sh!tty politicians, of course.

hey john,
yes, i'm just starting on this one,
haven't even finished writing a lyric yet.....
i just had an idea for a verse, chorus and bridge,
but don't know which is which yet.

once i figure out an arrangement, i'll finish writing lyrics, and try to decide how to present it...
as a hard rock kind of thing,
turn it into a more pop arrangement with pop sounds,
or keep it purely acoustic.
