I know it's a WIP, but I also like the acoustic feel.   What I'm hearing is perhaps a bit of that Extreme acoustic rock thing... bass and some percussion, but not a full out band piece.

yea, that'd be an obvious way to do it,
i'd slow it down a bit...
 
i'm also intrigued by the idea of all acoustic first verse, full band rest of song, finish acoustic..
kinda like i previously did on my vegas song "the strip"
 

This may sound weird but when listening to this stripped down WIP, I got kind of an early Paul McCartney feel to what you posted.  I think it was the acoustic guitar (George?) and the harmonies which sounded a wee bit Beatle-esque to me.  That might be an interesting direction to take this number ---no?

I am glad to be able to hear your singing voice.  No doubt you will continue to work on this piece.  Keep those vocals up front a little more, I have always felt that you needed to push those a bit more.  Your guitar palying will shine through no matter what, it is that good. Good luck, I look forward to the next iteration.

Bats, you have a great voice.  It is very rockish.  I wish I could produce the vocals for you, but I would have to be in the studio, and I doubt that will ever happen.  Let it hang out man.  You'll get it in there right.
