I don't mind the Daily Mail. When something big happens like a major ongoing incident or disaster, the DM is often the best place to head to get real time info and tons of detail. Their coverage is very extensive compared to the US news sites. You just have to wade through a huge amount of banal celebrity dirge and "cute" stories to get to it.
