Yep at least you can get an idea of how different all the speakers sound between each other.
Now which speaker was that again?

I might go crazy first though comparing all those speakers.

Of course I think they should have had the mics on the speakers around one meter away from the speaker instead of 18 inches.
At least they were consistent I suppose according to what they were saying on the website.

According to people at Gearslutz the Tannoys roll off the highs and the lows but do not sound bad except for that.
The others well who knows?
The 52 comparison test did not include every speaker listed then.

Well I've had the Rokits running since Friday and I have to say, I am quite impressed!
My wife and a few friends have even noticed, it's a much more detailed sound than I was getting previously and they really benefitted from rolling the highs & lows off by 1dB  (they're pretty closed to a fairly thin wall)

They won't displace my Adam's in the studio, but this is for my secondary setup downstairs, used mainly for internet/music/gaming but I've also got Sonar installed here to sketch out ideas.

These are well worth the £250.00 I paid for them (yeah, a bit over budget, but WTH!!!)

Thanks all.

We have a chain of stores called Richer Sounds, who are just box shifters, though they do still sell Hi-Fi separates, some of which are of good quality.
Then there are a few boutique dealers who sell vastly overpriced "audiophile" units.

And really expensive speaker cable
