Hi everyone hope yall are well. As for me great just writing fugues and other compostions lol

Anyhow I bought a theremin from thereminatics. it was small black box with just a pitch antenna.
Right now my set for the theremin includes a small yamaha "walmart I think" guitar amp, and foot pedal.
I want buy keyboad amp but now I'm hearing the moog amp is bad and decent amp will be $300 or more.
But I cant afford 300 because I spent it on upright piano I bought from a friend and to make things harder
I don't have the space to set up a theremin unless maybe I hook it up to my computer. And use computer speakers. Any suggestions? I also have the tascan dp 07 mk2 which I use alot... well even more after I get my Acoustic piano..

I'm not trying to become a Theremin virtuosos as my main priority is the piano. But be nice learn the basics.
Also any opinons on Theremin from Thereminatics is it good for melodies?

Thanks

Marcus,

are you talking about the "Moog" amp guitar Center was selling as a keyboard amp.  I bought one.  It is a cheap guitar amp badged with the moog name.  for $100, it is what it is.  It certainly isn't great but works OK.  I doubt if it goes down far enough, which a theremin will, but if you don't have $300 I wouldn't sweat it.  I'd see how well I could make it work and if you find you do need more bass (I think it is an 8-inch speaker), you can always get a bigger amp.  I will run soft synths out to it and it does that fine.  Someone is always advising non-pros they need to spend a ton of money.  Maybe they do, if they are making money from all the theremin gigs out there.  You can always upgrade something tomorrow and eat today, and nobody but a theremin expert can tell.
