Nice one!  The mix sounds good and I like the back to the sixties in this progression.  Hey, there is nothing wrong with using "common chord progressions".  They are a staple of so many genre of music.  It is how they are used in conjunction with arrangements, instrumentation, melody, etc. that makes the difference.

I think it is an achievement to write an instrumental and keep the interest going throughout, and you've done that. Did you master it as such? Just wondering if it could do with a gentle lift throughout if that makes any sense? And perhaps a little stereo widening? Just a thought, I really enjoyed it and it was very well played.

Definitely more House of the Rising Sun than Stairway to Heaven, but, in either case, it sounds pretty good.

Kinda Eric Burdon meets Robert Plant, if there were vocals.  The distortion seems to be a bit heavy to me in parts.  Well done though.
