Musos and actors should stick to their trade and leave the political comments alone..
just cause they are elevated in status that us normal PEE-ONS does not give the license to spout their "views"
I include those on both sides of the spectrum

Um, they get the exact same license as the rest of us.

And why should political messages, as opposed to say misogynistic ones, get special treatment?

And just for starters:

Bob Dylan?
John Lennon?
Punk music?

I'd think the world has had enough of Silly Love Songs

Ham N Eggs wants to fill the world with silly love songs
And what's wrong with that
He'd like to know

Was this in the sound check ?

And that's the message which is the polite one.  Boy, Roger Waters really does not like Trump - I mean he *really, really* does not like Trump.  Who would have thought it?

Almost half-way.  Interesting, but the cameraman DEFINITELY is not a guitarist.  When the lead starts, pan to the guitarist please!  *Sigh...*

Well, this was obviously not a high-production video made for commercial sale.  I'd bet that will be forthcoming on BlueRay and DVD after the tour is over.  But it was certainly a few quality cuts above a video record made with an iphone.  Clearly this was a pretty high-powered performance and must be pretty thrilling to experience in person.  Having seen this informal video, I'm inclined to buy the polished commercial version when (and assuming) that gets released.

I wonder what the content of the concert says about the new Roger Waters album that drops tomorrow.  There was some new material performed, but there was no dedicated segment where they featured the entire new album, which is what I was expecting to see.

Well, 10-seconds into it and I decided I want that video screen.

We all know the election was close and people are very polarized for one side or the other.  What I don't understand, in this type of instance, is why entertainers would intentionally go out to alienate half their audience?

I'm not a big fan trump fan (more anti-hillary than anything) but some of this is getting out of hand and is just disrespectful of the office (regardless of whom is sitting in the chair).

In this new "entitlement" age, people only expect to be given what they want.  They don't have any intelligent means of dealing with things when they DON'T get what they want.

This is nothing new for Roger. He's just continuing with what he's been saying for decades.

The word "pig" has a very particular meaning in the world of Pink Floyd (and no, I'm not talking about flying pig balloons):

https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Pigs_(Three_Different_Ones)

pigs represent the people whom Roger Waters considers to be at the top of the social ladder, the ones with wealth and power
