Sorry guys .. I've read all the threads and articles on the new PRV, and I still can't get the PRV to save views as I want them in PRV tabs.  I'm using SPlat. What I want is:

I want a combination of tracks, say tracks 1 and 3, to be visible in one tab, and I want to save that view permanently, so when I open the project again, I still see tracks 1 and 3 in that tab.
Then I want another tab with, say tracks 2 and 4. Again I want this to be permanent, at least until I want to re-order things later on.

I've got as far as selecting tracks 1 and 3, only showing those in the tab, and filtering so only tracks 1 and 3 are in the track view list. When I right-click on the "Filter" button, I'd expect to save from the drop down menu - is that correct?  However, "Save" is greyed out and I can't save.

I can save a new preset, but when I reopen the project, the preset is still there in name, but hasn't remembered the tracks I had when I saved that preset.

Ultimately, I'd like a range of tabs across the top, each with one or more tracks in them, and for these to remain saved, as they did before the PRV update.

What would really thrill me would be the ability to name these tabs in PRV, rather than the bland "Piano Roll - Multiple Tracks" label. E.g. the tab with tracks 1 and 3 would be "Drums", the tab with tracks 2 and 4 would be "saxes" .. etc. I realise this is not a current feature, but I dream of this every night, almost.

I realise the error here is most likely me and my inabilities to comprehend changes, so please be kind to an old fool.

Cheers
Jerry

Bump
Nobody knows?
I've tried the PRV>view>filter to selection on open and I can't get the selection to stick.
This is annoying. What am I doing wrong?
Cheers
Jerry
