Did you the UR-44 video of the Richton London?  I thought that was well done.  This unit is also going to work great with S1 as well as Auria on iPad.  It is so great to have 1 unit that does so many things!

Mine's on the way, replacing my PCI Layla3G on the new build.  Recommended by the builder as well.

I did. It's really cool, but honestly I don't do any of that stuff haha. Like I said I'm like 90+% software based in what I do. So I just need one that works and works good. But it's definitely towards the top of my list right now...

Polar,  I forgot to mention the desktop Konnekt 6 has a big-as.... ole volume knob in the middle of it.  I have the 48 w/ the remote and it works very well.  Read the SOS review on the 6 for the sound quality.  A bit old now, but it certainly hasn't gotten worse.

What do you guys think about the Focusrite Scarlett 2i4? I think it's currently the top of my list, with the Steinberg in 2nd. Any thoughts?

For a few more dollars get the 6i6. I paid $230 Can. It has a lot more going for it,  read my review.

"I always make a list of what I need before I start shopping. It's surprising how many forum threads I've read where someone runs out and buys an interface and finds out it is missing important features they need. Just because someone recommends an interface doesn't mean it's going to be correct for you."

Remember that the Scarlett 6i6 has only 2 mic inputs if that matters.

Thanks Rimshot, I'll take a look at your review... For the small amount of extra money it COULD be worth going bigger just to be safe, but honestly i don't do any live recording so I highly doubt I'd need the extra inputs. 2 is perfect for me.

I love this unit. I needed an audio interface with 2 mics/2 line in audio inputs and midi I/O. For the price and quality the 2i4 offers, this was an easy buy for me. Also, the drivers and support at Focusrite is outstanding......never had any dropouts, hums, buzzing etc....with their Win8 drivers.

Yea if I was making the purchase today I think the 2i4 is what I'll be going with... I still gotta get a new desk first though haha. And then i gotta figure out what my new keyboard is gonna be. Decisions Decisions. :-) Thanks for your input everyone.
