  • Latest Windows Preview Update Kills iLok

Got the latest Windows 10 Update Preview Build 16184-170424-2211 this morning and, afterwards,
iLok refuses to work.  Tried starting "Pace Services" and it refused
to start.  Uninstalled and reinstalled iLok, and it still refuses to 
run.  Will post here if I find a solution...

You can roll back Win10 updates Larry. Maybe that's the quick fix?

Have you checked that the Pace License Service is running Larry?  Try setting it to delayed start, I have had to do that with both my Win 10 machines.

Yep...I even tried to start it manually and it won't even start...
It just says "unable to start start service" after it hangs for a few...

I would roll back, but I've never had a problem before, so, when it
said "do you want to delete the previous version of Windows" I said
yes...as I'm about out of disk space on my C Drive....shame on me...

Looks like maybe you fast forwarded past 1703 to a preview build somehow ...

I been on Previews forever...never had any issues whatsoever until now...
they always worked beautifully, so this is a first...
