Which kills Pro Tools, East West, Slate, etc...ad nauseum...

I notice this happens when my computer goes into sleep mode. On waking up, it can't read my dongles. This could be a BIOS setting like C2E in the power settings causing it my case though.

No, not that...it has been perfectly fine up until the latest Windows update....
so it has something to do with that. I even went back to the the legacy install
and that wouldn't work either

To be frank, had I not deleted the previous
Windows version, I could have reverted and
probably would have been ok...no biggie...
Just have to see how it shakes out...

cclarry, the iLok problem is related to my current setup not yours. I never run Windows Update these days as half the changes don't effect what I do.
