Not true Pedro!  I saw the original almost every weekend for awhile.  I had a squirt bottle, a couple of pieces of toast and some rice (I didn't go ALL out like others I knew).  I used to know all the audience responses too ("Hey Riff Raff, is that a banana on your head or are you just glad to see us?").
 
Plus I worked at a place that would play the Time Warp every couple of hours (immediately after playing the Hokey Pokey).  Yes, I can't stand hearing either one of them now.
