I'm surprised how hard it seems to be to find any info in cakewalk.com on compatibility with macOS 10.12 Sierra. Is that because you that have upgraded are not experiencing anything worth mentioning? Cakewalk's silence means they're reflecting a trouble free user base?

Specifically I'd like to know if z3ta+ 2 will work in my DAW Ableton Live 9.7 under macOS 10.12 Sierra. Anyone have the experience or knowledge about this?

For once I'd like to upgrade as soon as possible. I'm still waiting for Softube and Plugin Alliance so there's still time, but I'd really like to know how people are doing.

I am running Sierra 10.12 with Ableton Live 9.7 standard and my cakewalk plugins have stopped working, Z3ta+ and Rapture Pro. Both are the latest versions.

When i try to load either of them into Ableton or Reaper  etc (AU, AAX, VST), i get an error message saying "Beta expired" strange since i have paid for these plugins. so i think its a Cakewalk problem with Sierra.

I have a load of other plugins from other companies (Waves, Air Audio, Tal Audio , Meldaproductions etc) and they all work with all my DAWs, on both my MacBook Pro and iMac.

Likely this is because you used the OS X installer in your account, right?

What you need to do instead is to download the latest Cakewalk Command Center and install from there.

I'm only a week into using macOS 10.12 Sierra with the latest Command Center used as installer and so far everything is stellar. I've only used Z3TA+ 2 in one track so far though.

I just downloaded the Command Center and installed the trial version of Z3ta+ and I have experienced the "Beta Expired" message. I am running macOS 10.12 Sierra as well.

You need to make sure you're running 2.2.3.47 and not a previous version. Remove Z3TA+ 2 and reinstall it with command center.
