I've always wondered: why is it so common to see posts that just say "IBTL"? Not so much here, perhaps, but it's very common across the tracks over at KVR.
I could understand if somebody actually had a point to squeeze in before the thread was locked. But what is the point of posting "IBTL"? Is there a prize for making the last post in a thread?
When I post IBTL, I'm expressing my opinion that somebody posted something with a better than 50/50 chance of causing the thread to be locked.
It's not meant to be serious or some sort of prize entry.
