Hi Everyone
Thanks to everyone for your feedback on my first song. I am working on your suggestions. I am posting another song. It is a theme for a story that I am working on. The scene is a journey, to a desert location where you see all of time - past, present and future at once and change your fate If you dare. Any feedback or suggestions that you might have would be great. Thanks.

John

I really like your clock-sound.  Is that from UVI?  Are you really in High School?

Thanks. The clock sound isn't from UVI. It is from Eastwest Storm Drum 2. Yes I am in high school. I just finished grade 9. That is our first year of high school., I didn't take music in Grade 9 because I couldn't play an instrument. I tried lots of different ones, but, I sucked. I started making songs on the PS 3 (littlebigplanet 2), and then GarageBand, When I outgrew these, my dad got me a Roland A49 midi keyboard for Christmas and it came with Sonar LE. He set it up for me and said I needed to learn to use it myself. I barely know how to use most of it. The monthly payments for the software (Platinum and Eastwest) really helped. I showed my grade 8 music teacher some of my songs at the end of the year in June and he really thought I should put them on SoundCloud, to share them and to learn.

It's kind of hard to believe John....in 9th grade most of us are still using edible glue and reading books like *believe in make believe* and *the chronicles of narnia*

I will start grade 10 in September. Actually, we took Romeo and Juliet, Of Mice and Men. We did multimedia production in grade 9 with video too. My friends and I mostly read stuff on the Internet and I've never read the books you named. I just like music and wanted to learn and get better at it and that is about it. I guess.

I'm impressed. Very nice tune you have put together and I really enjoyed the melodies. Plenty of talent showing for such a young songster. Keep up the good work I am keen to listen to more of your work.

It works here, gives a sense of movement, like a journey.  Thanks for sharing.
