Related: I'd personally recommend trying to find a hybrid but then again the local Lousianarns, er... Lousianites... (er... Lou's) might pick on ya.
 
Now I ain't no car talkin' (or even drivin') dood but those Ravs (IIRC) are pretty peppy and capable beasts. If it's got the lower gas/per mile then that likely is a good choice.
 
Just make sure it's got fold down back seats in case you need to take up residence down by the river again.
