Hi There!
This is a song I've always liked and thought might be worth a shot.  Kind of a dream pop version.

Note that I used a spoken recording of a Shakespeare sonnet by Judi Dench as a place holder in the bridge until either 1) I read it myself or 2) figure out an instrumental fill.

Hope you like it!

This is beautifully done! Mix is very good as is, and you did a fine job of putting your own stamp on this.

Very nice version. If it was me I would probably try some bigger pads for background and the use that as a foundation for the instrumental break with some nice crisp FM sounds on top.

Thanks for the comments guys.  Steen, I'll give that idea a try and see how it goes.  I was also thinking of doing a cello solo or something in the category.

This is one of those songs that I have always enjoyed for its apparent simplicity.  I find your cover to be very sympathetic with some nice additions and twists.  The use of the narrative from Judie is a very nice touch.  Nice job thanks for sharing

Nicely covered, really enjoyed this. I actually think the spoken recording works really well.

Nice version - always loved this song.
I do miss a 'big' moment as per the original when drums kick in

That was really nice...    "Dream pop" seems about right.    I really liked the "reverse" vocal lead-ins in the chorus and how the choir patch worked during the breakdown section.    I also liked the spoken word sample - for me it would probably be one of those "hard to hear anything else in its place now" things.
