Everyone's in too much of a hurry to appreciate the little/good things. If a musician passed by, I'm sure he would've listened more closer. 

He could have doubled that take if he had dressed nicer.

I certainly would have! At least give him an honourable mention

The same thing has happened and will happen to most artists ... I would have sat down and listened, because it would have been obvious that this was no johnnyonthemill playing a violin ... but it lets you know how much people really know and appreciate real music, when they are totally enthralled with pop songs ... 
 
There is a story that a famous ballerina did the same thing, and no one stopped ... even to look at her legs!
