Every other 'joke' or 'humorous post' that's ever been made in this forum by anyone else is simply a rehash/reworking/flogging a dead horse/variation/flagrant copy of something either of these two chaps has already had the wit and intelligence to dream up.

When I was a child my Father would often commute to London in a bowler hat.
 
Mostly though he'd just catch the train.

True Story:
 
I was in a bar one time and a good lady from the Salvation Army came in, she proclaimed "Booze makes you maudlin, sick and makes you much less atractive to the opposite sex."
 
After she walked off I turned to the guy I was drinking with who happened to be one young Shane MacGowan and I vacantly asked him "What did she mean?", he replied "I dunno" and we just continued on with our refreshments.
 
A couple of days later this picture appeared in the press and the rest is history.
