That's GORGEOUS.  You know that song *you're so vain* by Carly Simon?  I try to  use uplifting or empowering lyrics when I use the impersonal *you*  (a habit that we extinguish in graduate school often).  There's someone out there who believes you're talking about them!  Great song, it was song country-ish but it really could be the sound track for anything, even a broadway show.

You two make a great team. Beautiful piece of work.

There were a few spots where I thought the vocal might be too far up, but I think it is partly due to the huge changes in dynamics between the various phrases.

Again, lovely piece...great job!

Dan

Beautiful song, lyrics, and vocal.  Its simplicity gives it a lot of room to stand out and showcases the performances.  Very well done.

Very good song and performance. Sounds awesome all around.   I did keep expecting some bass to pop in at some point.   Personally I might consider adding either a real bass or a nice synth bass to round out a little but really spectacular as is.

Randy was kind enough to send me this song to evaluate as I'd worked on one of his previous tracks. As you can hear, he and his daughter make an incredible production team. Absolutely wonderful. Highly recommended!!

Wow, that is a beautiful piece of work.   A bit Sarah McLachlan-ish in a few ways, which is a good thing.   It's got everything going for it IMO.

You two should definitely do more.

Spellbinding.

Great tune, very intelligent arrangement.

Her lead vocal is dry? No reverb? Maybe add just a little? Do I hear a vocal that is dry as a bone? It's unusual, and plenty good without reverb, but I wonder if just a hair would improve how the vocal melds to the instruments.

Can't wait to hear the next one from you both.

cheers,
-Tom
