Lots of people feel that way, including yours truly. Kontakt 5 was similarly slow to be widely adopted, since, like K6, it offered few visible enhancements for end users. However, NI likes to coerce developers into using the latest version, ensuring version incompatibilities for users, even for minor updates to current libraries, and thus forcing everyone to get with the plan.
Like most, I'll wait until some library comes along that I absolutely have to get. But it's just a matter of time. Ultimately, resistance is futile.
