Argh! Buggy! I should have skipped this release.
Installer couldn't find a C++ library that was previously installed and now VC_re_redist.x64.exe doesn't close after you exit Wave Central meaning you have to force close it when shutting down your PC or use Task Manager to kill it.

Yup, I also had an error like that after installation.

After a reboot it seems to work OK and has identified several updates for CLA, Waves Gold and Scheps.

I only checked last week so these must be quite recent or the previous Waves Central was failing to identify updates.

Thanks for the heads-up gmon.

Worked like a charm on my rig even without a restart.

installation worked fine here as well

but it did only find an update for the license service which I don't care about. so my practise of reading the release news every 2-3 months and updating if needed worked fine. all current with WAVES. no need to update :-)

For me there was an "Update Available" in the upper left of the app.

I also had no problems running the latest version of WC.

yes. that's it.

it checks for updates after you log in (which strangely I have to do manually every time) ...

I had to repeat the update in Windows 10 as I dual boot Win7/10 and this time I paid attention

In Windows 10 the update happened without any errors and I got the blue "Updates available" notification as per you guys which I had to click to get the list of updates that were available.
