NOW it's serious. You skipped the triple dare you and went straight to the coup de grace of all dares, the sinister triple-dog-dare.  I don't see how I can get out of this one.

I checked and Fedex has it out for delivery this morning.  As usual after the purchase, I immediately got buyers remorse thinking of how much I dropped on this baby.  But I've got a feeling that once I plug a mic into it and hear it in the headphones, I'll get that warm glow again.

It took me a long time to figure out that singers like singing in to a compressor... even if they don't know it yet.
 
It let's them perform with the dynamics they are so used to hearing on records and the radio.
 
Don't be afraid to over do it for a while to see what the practical limits are. :-)
