Hey Vastman... honestly, I had NO clue what it was either... and initially I thought it was an X3 ARA integration thing, but it is not... Paul P dropped the "reality bomb" on me, so now I at least I know what it is... check out the few posts below here in this

LOL... just to clarify this... I have inherent "trust issues" with integrating things so often (more than I need to, I admit) open things in stand-alone mode. ASIO aggregation is basically that the drivers are capable of accepting ASIO from multiple sources, but this is driver dependent (not "everyone does it"). It turns out that Focusrite does this, but I cannot find mention of it, and (to me) I think that is a massive marketing point for them. If you check out the video, you will see why... X3 open, Melodyne (stand-alone) open, each with a different song... and playing like a dream!
LOL... I saw your small print... there is a BIG sticker on the unit saying do NOT do anything with the cable with either the unit or the computer on!
