I am having an issue, that if I have youlean meter in a project it won't open unless I disable youlean thur safe mode.
I really like the meter from my limited use. Was wondering if it would be possible to add a peak to loudness ratio figure. I am used to using the TT dynamic range meter and think that would be the closest way to judge equivalent dynamic range. Or am I missing something?

Does this happens with VST2 of VST3? Can you tell me exactly how can I reproduce this? Thanks.

+1 for the crest factor suggestion. It would be a nice addition, something even iZotope Insight doesn't have. 
 
I, too, miss the TT dynamic range meter - but technology marches on, and that handy tool is now obsolete. Although AFAIK nothing else out there duplicates TT's algorithm (and ease of use, especially batch mode), Youlean's integrated LUFS is the closest analog to it as a sanity check for your mixes.
 
Unfortunately, it's possible to constrain a mix's dynamics to a target LUFS and still have a too-low (or too-high) peak-to-average value. The "True Peak Max" display can be somewhat helpful. Assuming your peaks are fairly consistent, you could shoot for a long-term integrated LUFS / Peak target combination and use that the same way you used to use the dynamic range meter.

I am definitely working on the next update. I have already implemented GUI scaling/View modes, and now I am looking at else. I am thinking adding PLR/crest meter though I can't promise anything...  :D

It happens only after using the meter and then trying to open the project, if I just insert it and don't play back any audio, the project will open without issue.

OK. This is a known problem. For now use VST2 version of the plugin and wait for the update...

I think that was the part I was missing, as long as the peaks are around 0 the Long term LUFS is somewhat equivalent to the dynamic range. But I like to keep the peaks at -1dB so I will just add 1 to the LUFS scale if I want to make comparisons.
