I've had it for a while, but never bothered to post about it.  It's great for send EZD MIDI to AD2, previewing/using 3rd party MIDI is a breeze.

Before I upgraded to SONAR Platinum, I had EZ Drummer 1. Now I have AD2 and use an EZ Drummer drum map to play the old MIDI patterns with AD2. But the way the EZ Drummer MIDI files are organized doesn't translate well in AD2. It's almost impossible to find the related EZ Drummer groove variations using the AD2 beat browser.

Does EZ Player pro help with this problem?

Yes.  And soooo much more

Here's how EZPP presents the EZD2 MIDI.  In this case, EZPP is driving AD2.  In addition to selecting, the MIDI can also be manipulated by selecting individual kit pieces out of grooves and combing with bits of other grooves.  It really is a sweet tool.  NOTE that the below is displaying the EZD2 grooves.  I haven't had EZD1 installed since way before I acquired EZPP.

I've posted this elsewhere before, but now seems like a good time to repeat it.

To get your hands on the standalone MIDI files from your AD2 collection, log in to your XLN Audio account and click on My Account to go to your products page. Add "/offline" to the URL and press Enter. That will get you to the hidden page where you can scroll down to the bottom and download each of the AD2 MIDI packs you've purchased. Now you can use EZPlayer Pro to use the AD2 MIDI in EZD2 or SD2.

Yep.  I do find myself using the AD2 sounds more though.  I love the sound of Fairfax 2 being driven by the EZD2 post-rock grooves.
