We've finally finished Sonarworks Systemwide for Windows and macOS. Systemwide will take all audio and apply Sonarworks calibration to it.

Now's your chance to try it out for 5 days and hear it for yourself! Download the newest version HERE!

Here's you trial code: xxxxx

We'll give you a special deal to buy it next week, so sit tight until then! Download Systemwide HERE!  Select it as your primary output device and anything you playback will end up being calibrated. Spotify, Youtube, Bandcamp, iTunes… Listen to reference tracks from anywhere and compare properly, having the same reference sound. And never hear the old uncalibrated sound ever again!

I've got it up and running and loving it! Listening to Spotify through my Adam reference curves I use for mixing.

This is not applicable to music streaming on an Android phone is it ?
I am assuming that it works on the same PC you use for your DAW and then any MP3, streaming etc. gets the treatment ?

correct; this is  pc /mac software and requires the reference 3 software.  You use ref 3 as a plug in the DAW but switch to the systemwide output outside of your DAW (it uses direct sound not ASIO)

Hmm?
If it is system wide, why would you need the plug in the DAW? The DAW runs thru the system.
Curious.

to clarify you can in fact run Sonar through the systemwide output if you use wasapi shared but it doesn't give great performance considering the additional overhead and latency introduced by using systemwide rather than using the reference 3 software as an fx plugin. It doesn't work using ASIO or any other output type.
The same applies to Audacity. It has to run using windows direct sound. Streaming apps, games or software such as I tunes, windows media player etc. have no issues running through systemwide that I have come across, and it provides the same flat sound you get using the plug in Sonar, which is great for comparing your product with sources from elsewhere.
