on cheap AKG phones - vocals are a little recessed. nice use of the stereo field BB. Bass (guitar) is fine, kick needs maybe to come up a little but maybe that's the limitations of the headphones.

Trippy groovalicious-ness, with nicely seasoned guitar fills weaving in and out.

Hi Rob, having listened to the album for a while this track has become a firm favourite. It's a real grower.

how does the low end translate on your system at volume?

Quite loud through headphones, it's a little light actually.

THANKS FOR THAT, james....
cool.
i guess if the low end is loud....
but not woofy or muddy, that's a good thing.....
headphones are tricky, they seem to be all over the map for low end goofiness,
i have some ear buds that have 'extended low end' (reads 'mud')..... and i use those sometimes to tell if something is REALLY off....
if pro mixes sound good thru them,
but my mixes sound too bassy,
then i know i have some detective work to do!

glad you are digging the album, james...

hi mgh!
vox is always so highly subjective,
i think they sit well in stereo because of the panning off of everything else except bass..

the drum track, is just a stereo drum machine track i had from years ago,
there's no way for me to tweak individual tracks, all i can do is eq it.....
as it is, i used a MB comp on it to bring the kick up to where it is,
the original track was pretty flat, but i still wanted to use it....
