Its complicated for transexuals and I know they suffer big time.  Taking on another gender than one was born with is tough to do.  Despite that,  it simply isn't true or HONEST to say they become the opposite sex.  They have the genes of their former gender we live in a milieu, (pew). There's much more to identity than self identity.  And likewise the millieu is much more complex than what they see as binary patriarchy.

Last time I checked, I was male and my wife was female. I've got to admit, that wasn't a couple of days ago, though.
