Wow that's both sad and very eerie - he popped into my head just yesterday and I had a feeling that we'd been seeing an "RIP Allan Holdsworth" thread in the near future. I just didn't think it would be the next day! The last couple of videos I saw him in he didn't look very well. 

Very sad. RIP.

For whatever reason, I too was kind of expecting this. Maybe something one's subconscious recorded...
