100% Italian design shines in the iLoud.

Apparently Italy is the new China which was the new Japan...

I know some of you think its not worth the price, but reviews are coming in and the sound needs to be heard to be believed. 100% Italian design shines in the iLoud. Even KVR, where we are generally not well received, are praising the new iLoud: http://www.kvraudio.com/f...torder=asc&start=0

Hi Obi,

I was looking for monitor/speakers that were travel friendly.  When I received your announcement about the iLoud (please don't make me ever have to say or type anything like that again), I was immediately interested.  However, as convenient as a single stereo unit is, how much separation can be expected from such a (small) device?  Not to mention the hefty price tag; I lost a lot of that initial interest.  After all, a single, reputable mid-range monitor can be had for that price.

BTW, wasn't there an even smaller unit to be released?

Kind regards,

... I've yet to see a Guitar with Bluetooth output.

FYI, the 21st century version of the Gibson Firebird has Bluetooth or something similar. The guitar interacts with wireless foot pedals and has a full-on effects system onboard. If they ever sort out the batteries it could be cool but right now they seem to run about 40 minutes. The DSP and communications really sap the battery.

I can't imagine how expensive the guitar must be.  Definitely a deal breaker on the new speaker unit.

Its decent, but really its hard to explain speakers over text. The frequency response is great, meaning incredibly flat and accurate. Stereo separation is good as well, but depends on how you have it positioned. It can be great head on, but off to the left/right it will be thrown off as well. The price fits the build and sound quality. Italian design at its finest really, which is why the reviews have been overwhelmingly positive, save for 1 thing. The price.

Granted, people are used to cheaper price tags of other units that look similar, but the sound and design are what sets it apart. Sure you can buy a powered monitor, but it is a lot bigger, lacks bluetooth, no built in iRig circuit and such. If you want cheaper, go for something else. If you want quality, iLoud has it in spades.

Hey IkObi,
Do you guys offer access to user manuals on your website?
I've looked everywhere and can't find one for your iRig Keys keyboard, looking for a small usb keyboard for traveling with my laptop...

No we don't, we have some for our apps, but not with our hardware. I'll check with support to see if I can find you a copy I can email you.

hmm the iloud + iArc... for that studio feel ... hahahahahahahaha!

A (bass?) guitarist or singer would perform into an iloud at the hotel?  What fer?

OTOH, I think I'd trust Bose (mini) speakers a lot more.  Any of you trust Bose mini speakers for your traveling experiences?

How about cans!  Not iSpam!

We'd welcome a shoot out between iLoud and any of the other competition out on the market right now. We are more than confident it'll blow them away. We have been flooded with great feedback and reviews from all over the world since we started shipping the iLoud.

...likely among the many we bought with the sole purpose of designing iLoud to sound better (and succeeding), this video is just 3 out of the many many speakers we bought:  iLoud vs other popular speakers - All three comparisons
