Doing well together?

'Redoing my DAW based on Dell's Inspiron i7 dual core (4 thread) ($800 at Staples)
WAVE's *maximization* internal soundcard --> boombox laptop loudness.
About triple louder than my HP Envy's *Dr. Beatz* internal soundcard.
(I've always velcro'd a 'pro'-cw USB-2 sound-interface to the HP Envy's laptop lid).
Bunches of screws on Inspiron's bottom: to upgrade to SSD and RAM?
Any of you recommend a better win 8.1 touch computer or configuration?
Ultimate portable studio?
i.e., Dells XPSs and HP Envy's are other option$ for 8.1 touch plus X3c.
Of course I may replace Inspirons' 1tb HD with a 500mByte SSD
Win 8.1 Touch (free Win-Store-update) truly smokes the Win 8's, IMHO
I'm overly-excited about 'downsizing' my DAW into awesome lappy.
