I love my Octacapture, but I just snazzed up my windows desktop with Rainmeter and Rocketdock (pretty much doing away with desktop icons), and I cannot get the Octacapture icon (which opens the app and mixer and stuff) to dock in either the bottom windows taskbar or anywhere else.  I can only make a shortcut for the desktop.  Just wondering if anyone else has managed to get the icon to function anywhere else than either from the actual Windows Control Panel or from a created desktop shortcut.

For that matter, why would some shortcuts not be dockable in the taskbar?  Just wondering.

I have the Octa-Capture icon on my task bar.  I went to the Roland listing in "All Programs".  Right clicked on the Icon for the program and selected Pin to Taskbar.

The add-on's you have may be stopping it.  If that's the case you need to check with the add-on vendor(s) to see how to get around that.

Good answer.  I never tried just using the "pin to taskbar" command.  I just tried dragging it in there.  Thanks.  Will try when I get home.

Worked like a charm.  Thanks!  That has been bugging me for a long time.  Now I just feel like an idiot.
