Lynn, thanks for posting this.  I too have learned an incredible amount since joining the forum.  The best part was that even though I got lots and lots of suggestions (especially in the beginning), it was given in a courteous, helpful manner.  I have viewed other forums where it seems that everybody is to busy flaming and criticizing each other that it sounds more like a political debate vs. a helpful forum. 
Personally, I am not comfortable with my level of knowledge or skills in music to provide many constructive suggestions about the mixes.  However, if I hear something I like, then I will provide positive comments.  Encouragement and positive feedback are good teachers also.
You have to admit, Kenny's response to this posting was funny.  It sure brought a smile to my face!

I want to thank everybody for replying to the "rant" of mine.  I have to say that Kenny really stepped up to the plate on this.  I couldn't have said it better.  At first I was reluctant to write this, but now, I'm glad I got it out of my system.  Carry on, all.

I know why I'm here... I've learned so much while also "advertising" my own works here. I am rarely able to off much advice but I am always willing to listen to other peeps music. I have also learned so much, thanks to the helpful advice from this very forum, for which I will always be grateful.
 
Now I've got to go and do some "catching up!"
