Unknowen
I really don't get this but I went to reinstall my computer...  that's another story.. lol
When I got to the Tron the zip files was empty and one of the instrument files was empty. I have hundreds of zip files going back 20 years and not one has ever failed!
I also redundantly back up files and when I checked other hard drives and usb drives the Tron and Moog  instruments where gone or in a state of decay. At the time I was installing so I moved on and found what I thought was all the Tron instruments.zip files and installed them. of course now days (64bit) you have to use Sample Tank to use the  instruments... I noticed that many of the samples were missing.  And now it turns out you have to re buy the  instruments again to replace them...  So then... How does a zip file degrade across many backups from many computers usb and hard drives including my desk top where I have the full Tron program installed and had left the Zipped and unzipped files for the full program left untouched on the desktop for 3 years yet now have despaired?
The folder is there, the main Tron and MOOG installer are there but ALL the zip files are gone, as well as the installers for the instruments and  instruments.zip files?

Anyone else have issues unable to find IK zipped files?

no, sorry (and i just checked )

but why would you have to purchase them again? i know they have some weird thing with a download time limit, and after a certain time you have to pay a fee to re download, surely that has to be significantly cheaper than purchasing again

There is a sounds download reactivation which is indeed much cheaper than repurchase.  I don't know of cases where zips "decay" or similar over time or across backups but if you had them legitimately backed up and they seem to be corrupted you may want to make a case to IK Support before grabbing the reactivation http://www.ikmultimedia.com/contact-support/mi
