How about BandLab Pro DAW. It is simple, says exactly what the product is, isn't gimmicky and won't be outdated right away. After all, the <product> will only rise from the ashes once. Or has one of the funny
now names, but won't sustain a serious conversation for long (see my previous suggestion that has that fun initialism).
We need to get away from the industry wide reputation of Cakewalk SONAR and bugs - whether they are real or otherwise doesn't matter now. They are a stigma to leave behind.
It's fun to speculate and have "out-there" ideas, and many have been great to awesome. But they probably won't sell a DAW.
"Pro Tools" is a no-nonesense name. Studio One is too, and also implying they are a first choice for studio software. BandLab should consider something similar, direct and to the point.
I will admit that Logic, CuBase, Reason and Reaper don't fit my model, so quite likely I'm completely wrong. It certainly won't be the first or last time.
