I do find more and more google is not as great when searches provide solutions that are outdated and they are often in the top 10 results. There are times I think I'm the only one with a certain glitch.
With software I'd just prefer the person to get their rant out of their system. Meanwhile there are others who load up both barrels of fanboy lead and fire away. This really doesn't make it better.
I have on and off issues with the latest Finale (my cash to them is also a finale). Where my anger began was wading through pages just to get to contact support. A rant of the forum produced results and also a great temptation to take shots at a fanboy on their forum who is basically useless.
This isn't meant to be about my Finale gripes but I think people get more irritated when software doesn't perform (especially gaming) like it should. Usually when you buy a toaster it works. When it doesn't you take it back.
