Now what happens if I've been listening to professional quality music my entire life, but due to the fact that I lack any "real" talent, my music is just plain horrible? What if I just don't realize it, but my mind tells me it's fantastic......as one of the bipolarity's in me is realistic while the other side is in fantasy land?

Which one should I trust?

Everybody has this ability to create professional music in their heads.  However, there are some people who merely lack the creative potential to unlock this skill.  As a result, they only end up creating mediocre songs in their heads.  If you truly think you have unlocked this potential and the songs you create in your head truly sound as though they are just as great as the songs created by famous musical artists, then you are justified to stand by that claim.  If you know you are not deluding yourself and the songs truly sound that great, then that makes them great.  You would know that you are not merely deluding yourself because by suspending all the qualities of delusion, you can arrive at the very core of a truth that is self-realized.

The same concept applies in terms of making the realization that a song you have created in your own mind is not that great.  The whole idea that something is great just because you think it so obviously would not apply to those types of situations such as if you thought you were a great boxer just because you threw some flashy punches.  However, it does apply in this situation of creating music in your head because we are talking something equivalent to LAD that emeraldsoul pointed out earlier.

Pretending that I take any of this seriously...if all that is true, the question remains..so what? Why would anyone care that you can 'make great music in your head'?

I think all this is a giant smokescreen you've blown up for yourself, so you don't have face the reality - you are just too lazy to learn how to compose music, and you're here, yet again, looking for some kind of validation so that you don't feel bad about it.

How do you know you're not deluding yourself when you're thinking you're "suspending all the qualities of delusion"?

Wouldn't you be just justifying your own hypothesis in which your alter ego is happily embracing as being "great"?

When would you use "reality/reason" to differentiate between delusion and truth.....where's the actual cut-off line?

It's no different than a situation where if you think you are articulating your English language well and this really seems to be the truth to you, then that makes it so.  The idea of self-delusion simply does not apply here.  It does not apply to LAD just as how it also does not apply to MAD.  Again, if you do not know what those acronyms mean, then refer back to emeraldsoul's post to get the idea.
